The ActiveX applet cannot be installed due to security policy on the target browser client.

 


Solution



In cases where the user might not have the necessary permissions, a couple of alternatives are available to the administrator:

To deploy this product enterprise wide, administrators can use any standard Managed deployment application. Clearwell validates using either Microsoft Systems Management Server, and Active Directory group policy (Software Installation) deployment as managed deployment approaches.
Since this is a typical InstallShield installer, any of InstallShield’s options can be used to manage the deployment. For example, to deploy the installer quietly, simply run the following command:
C:\WINDOWS>msiexec /I “Clearwell Native Viewer (ActiveX).msi” /qn
Administrators can use any of the standard Windows Installer commands. For more information, refer to Microsoft’s standard installer command line options at: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa367988(v=vs.85).aspx
