ICMP Reports are not giving the data expected

ICMP Reports are not giving the data expected or ICMP Availability is giving false negatives because of multiple NICs.
No errors displayed under these circumstances. If this is occuring you would see an alert in the Event Console that is actually a false negative or not true.
This affects SMP versions up to 7.1.2 MP1 with operating system Windows Server 2008.
Multiple NICs installed on client machine.
Below are all the items you want to ensure are validated for the servers being monitored:
- All desired resources are in at least one ICMP rule/policy and that the policy is active.
- The resource can be pinged from the RMS server. If you are using multiple Sites/RMS servers, ensure each resource is pingable by its site server.
- If there are multiple NICs on a resource, ensure the IP desired is pingable from the RMS.
