'Unable to update the configuration information on the Scanner' host when trying to change the admin user's password

When you try to change the password for the 'admin' user in the Control Center interface, you receive the error:
This means that one or more of the scanners joined to the control center are not accessible.
Verify that the agent service is started on all scanners and that there is open and clear communications on port 41002.
