KNOWN ISSUE: Asset and CMDB Solutions appear as installed but not configured within SIM

NOTE: This issue is only present with customers that have SMP 7.0 MR4 Rollup v11 (See HOWTO50312) installed.
The customer reported that SIM (Symantec Installation Manager) is not displaying properly the solutions and licenses for Asset and CMDB Solutions.
SIM shows that the following products needs to be reconfigured: Asset Management Suite MR4, Asset Management Solution MR2, and CMDB Solution MR4. However, SMP 7.0 MR4 Rollup v11 updates those products to "MR5" version.
These Solutions completed successfully the initial configuration when the Rollup was installed, but SIM shows that it is still needing to be reconfigured.
Regarding the licenses, SIM doesn't displays those Solutions with applied licenses. However, when you look at the First Time Setup page in the SMP Console, under 'Licensing' webpart, Asset and CMDB appears with the correct licenses.
The install logs shows the following as example:
Asset Management Languages 53660 MR2 x86 (7.0.1329) (product guid c40aec0b-86de-4950-b00f-6a0d36337a57, MSI package code guid e258e9ac-9762-4c2e-bb5d-758e221d98b4) is returning as not configured and thus is not considered installed.
Symantec Management Platform 7.0 MR4 with Rollup v11
Symantec Installation Manager 7.0.819 and newer
Known issue. SIM is looking for older versions for those Solutions than the ones current installed.
After applying the SMP 7.0 MR4 Rollup v11 for these Solutions new config files were laid down. When SIM is trying to configure them it is looking at the original msi files and then using the config files for the MR5 files. Since the msi product code is different in these config files, it will not show them as configured. These MR5 files are not in the Product Listing (PL) file, so SIM doesn't know anything about them.
This issue has been reported to the Symantec Development team. This issue is not present with the SMP 7.1 releases.
The Asset and CMDB Solutions are actually configured and working properly. The issue resides with SIM not been able to know about the newer config files with the MR4 Rollup v11 since those are installed outside SIM processes. Licensing is also not affected and licenses should be able to be installed and consumed as usual.
If you need to reconfigure these Solutions, Please use the files provided with the SMP 7.0 MR4 Rollup v11.
