Clearwell V7.1.3

Solution

What issue(s) does this Point Fix resolve?

The Point Fix resolves the following issue(s):

ESA-31892-31670

This fix resolves a problem where a Collection Task fails during Aggregation after upgrade to 7.1.3 with the following error:

[#422281] An error occurred while aggregating statistics for a collection task: null

ESA-31975

Clearwell V7.1.3 changed the way Active Directory (AD) Discovery works.  In particular, when AD Discovery is run, the "Employee List" is populated with the discovered user data.  In past releases, the "Employee List" needed to be populated explicitly.  For customers who loaded the "Employee List" using non-AD means (by script or CSV file), this may be an issue because extraneous (and likely duplicate-looking) records would be created.  This fix provides a mechanism to prevent the auto-population of the "Employee List".

There are 2 steps that are required to prevent AD Discovery from automatically populating the "Employee List":

1.  Using the "Property Browser" Support Feature (System > Support Features), set the following System Property and value:  esa.icp.employee.skipEmployeeSync=true
2.  Clearwell Services need to be restarted for the System Property to be picked up

For further information on how to use the "Property Browser", please refer to the Clearwell System Administration Guide.

ESA-32854

This fix resolves an issue where running a multi-lined search seems to run indefinitely until the UI session times out.  The server log shows the following error:

YYYY-MM-DD 18:06:31,650 WARN  [common.mapreduce.DefaultErrorHandler] (http-bio-443-exec-17-x162700:) map-reduce error
com.teneo.esa.admin.jmx.RemoteInvocationException: Remote invocation of TextEngineServiceMBean.lwQuickSearch [5c8765f3ff70000a] failed: Connection to remote component server.company.com:46080 closed suddenly while client was waiting for a response

ESA-33299

This fix resolves an issue where Keyword Search Variations may produce different counts in cases which were upgraded from Clearwell V6.6.  There are 2 steps that are required in order to implement this fix:

1.  Using the "Property Browser" Support Feature (System > Support Features), set the following CASE (be sure to use the Case dropdown) Property and value:  esa.queryengine.refreshcollector.enable_always=true
2.  Clearwell Services need to be restarted for the CASE Property to be picked up

For further information on how to use the "Property Browser", please refer to the Clearwell System Administration Guide.

ESA-33556

In Clearwell V7.1.3 the Search Report was enhanced in order to provide a Microsoft Excel-format document containing multiple worksheets.  However, for large data sets where the report is run, it may take a long time for the report to complete.  This fix provides a mechanism to switch back to the older behavior which is to provide a simple CSV file.  There are 2 steps that are required to change the Search Report to revert back to pre-V7.1.3 behavior:

1.  Using the "Property Browser" Support Feature (System > Support Features), set the following System Property and value:  esa.queryengine.searchreports.csvformat=true
2.  Clearwell Services need to be restarted for the System Property to be picked up

For further information on how to use the "Property Browser", please refer to the Clearwell System Administration Guide.

ESA-33298

This fix resolves an issue where a case fails to upgrade from V7.1.1 to V7.1.3.  As a result, the case is not accessible in V7.1.3.  The cause of the case upgrade failure is due to an inconsistency in the back-end Lucene index.

This fix contains the code which handles the inconsistency and will allow the case to upgrade successfully.  However, this code is not enabled by default.  Please contact Technical Support to:

1.  Validate that this is the exact problem;
2.  Enable the fix by setting a specific Clearwell System Property;
