Issue

You are getting database full errors and even though you delete events, it still is filling up.  You would like to know how to verify if the eval database was selected during installation.

Error

The database keeps filling up and crashing.

Environment

Windows 2003, 2008

SCSP 2.X

Solution

You can verify if the evaluation database was selected by using the collect server information.  Once you have run this on the server it will create a zip file.  If you unzip this file and look at the SISManagerSetup.log you will see

Property(S): INSTALL_TYPE = Eval

This indicates the eval database was selected during the installation.

To resolve this you will need to move your database to a SQL database.
