Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition

We have various wizards available in SEP 12 SBS that help us in configuration and administrative tasks.
If you want to run these wizards, you can either use the GUI methods or use them from the command prompt.

This articles concentrates on using the command prompt for accessing the wizards:

The folder: C:\program files\symantec\symantec protection centre\bin contains 5 batch files.

Here are their names:

dbtools.bat- Used for Database Backup and Restore



firstuse.bat: Migration from SAV Wizard


sca.bat: Management Server configuration Wizard



sesm.bat Used for opening the Management Console for SPC



upgrade.bat: For opening the Management Server Upgrade Wizard
