1) Click I accept the EULA
2) In the Home screen in the Scans section on line 2 click Collect Data For Support
3)In the dialog box, check the Symantec products for which you want to collect data, then click Next
NOTE: If you do this where you have installed the SEP Manager, you will get the step 5, if not, it will start to collect logs from step 6.
4) In the next dialog box, which includes the Data Type and Debug Logging configuration sections, select collect All Data and click Next. Do not select any other options unless a Symantec Technical Support engineer requests it.
NOTE: For SBE Cloud, select also in Debug Logging Endpoint Protection.cloud
5) If you have selected this in the server which you have the manager also you will have this screen:
Just click next:
6) It will start to collect the logs.
7) After finishes to collect the logs, you will receive the following screen:
You can either login with your symantec account and open or udapte an existing support case, or simply, you can click on cancel it an save it locally and later upload it.
If you select “Cancel and Save locally”
You will have the following screen, you can simply select the location where you want to save it(under To location)and click on Save.
A file named and location selected in the previous screen will be created with an sdbz extension .
