Hi All,

Here i am sharing a very common tool which can be used to have the SSH connection to any LINUX OS - PuTTY.

PuTTY is a open source terminal emulator application which can act as a client for the SSH computing protocol and as a serial console client.

This will be helpfull for all SSIM users to get connected to the SSIM Appliances for LINUX OS control.

This can be helpfull where , while sitting on any guest OS like windows you wnated to have the secured remote connection any LINUX or UNIX kernel.

below are also helpfull tools for the same type of connection, you can try out them also.

  • SecureCRT
  • Cygwin/X
  • WinSCP
  • Xming
  • mintty

but i found putty very widely used.
