Promo: Competition for playing Physical vs Virtual Game

Symantec Ltd, Ireland („Symantec“) organizes at the Symantec stand #56 at the VMWorld Fair, Copenhagen, Denmark aCompetition from 13th October to the 19th October 2011 and is open only to accredited visitors to the VMWorld Fair and who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry and accepted these Terms and Conditions. In order to participate Participants have to find the most imaginative virtual vs physical opposites suggestions, e.g.Wii skiing v Skiing in the Alps. Participants should tweet their suggestions at #symparty and #vmworld. Participation in this Competition is independent of any purchase of Symantec products.

Several Competition entries per person is allowed. Registrants from governmental bodies, Vendors, Employees of Symantec, its affiliated companies, consultants and its agencies (including its employees) are not eligible to participate. Participants must have permission of their duly authorized representative of their employer (if applicable) to enter the Competition.

Symantec shall judge through an independent jury all entries which are submitted via Twitter at at #symparty and #vmworld no later than 12:00 on Wednesday, 19th October 2011. The winner will be announced on Wednesday, 19th October 2011 via Twitter on #symparty and #vmworld. Symantec will contact the winner directly via Twitter of its prize within 2 days as of winning. Odds of winning the prize depend on the number of eligible entries received by Symantec. Symantec will ship the prize to the winner no later than 31 October 2011.

The main prize is two tickets to European Football Games worth GBP 300 each. The tickets are for a European football game of your choice. If winner’s first choice isn't available the ticket issuer will look into your second choice of match tickets. The tickets do not include any finals of major tournaments. Please contact Dominique Hughes on and a list of games will be given which are available in the winner’s area. The prize must be redeemed before the end of April 2012. The winner is responsible for own transport to and from the football venue and any expenses and agrees to submit to the terms and conditions governing the tickets. Cash alternatives will not be given in lieu of a prize. No prize substitution is allowed except at the discretion of Symantec. To the extent permissible by law, Symantec excludes any representation or warranty, express or implied, as well as any liability in respect to the prize(s) except for damage that is proven to be caused by shipment or processing by Symantec.

Details of the winner will be available on written application to Symantec and by entering the competition entrants agree that, in the event of winning a prize, Symantec may use their name in publicity free of charge. Any tax, social contributions or incidental expenses arising from the award of a prize shall be the sole responsibility of the relevant winner. Symantec reserves its right to change, cancel or postpone this Competition at any time without prior notice.Moreover, Symantec shall accept no liability in the event Participants have made errors or mistakes when registering or participating in the Competition. This Competition is governed by English law without its conflict of laws.
