Receiving the following Active Server Pages (ASP) Error 5 error message:  Service Unavailable.  When trying to access the RA_WebClient site that is hosted on a Microsoft Windows Server 2003-based server.

Symptoms:  Web Console crashing with error message as “Service Unavailable”

Reason:  The Application Pool Identity setting for the RAM AppPool was incorrectly configured.

SOLUTION:

  1.  Reset the Service Account of the RAM Server Service.
  2. Restart the RAM Application Pool.

Hi Syed,

Nice solution but can you provide more on this, I mean teh RCA or reason behind the problem . I think if you manually config the RAM Application Pool.  in boot.ini it may also work. since last time i was heard such type of problem and solution.
