We have had a need to do a lot of customization and testing with the Email monitor part of service desk and wanted to share a super helpful tip to help with your testing.
Here are the steps to run the Email monitor project if you can’t or don’t want to wait for it to run on it’s regular schedule.
This walkthrough assumes you already have the IIS Manager open.
1. Click the SD.Email.Monitor application
2. Switch to Content View
3. Right Click the EmailMonitoringService.asmx
4. Select Browse
5 Click CheckForMessages
6. Click Invoke
