It's crucial to monitor SEP on every aspect on daily basis.
Monitoring and reporting is usually on demand basis. When someone from senior management asks, we start preparing it. Rather than being asked, we can prepare daily management report and share it with all concerned on daily basis.
Daily reporting should consist of AV definition, number of clients, servers, gups, outdated virus defs count, SEPM health check, backup etc.
Please find below attached the template for ease in understanding and start reporting. This template can also provide last 5 days trend with respect to each item.
