When you perform Live-Update for Symantec Enterprise Security Manager sometimes you get following error.
To troubleshoot above problem locate to following directory path:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\LiveUpdate
Right Click on "Settings.LiveUpdate" Uncheck Read-Only properties menu & then click ‘OK’.
Now, Open file named ‘Settings.LiveUpdate’ in any text editor (Notepad/Wordpad)
Make changes as shown in below:
Change the value of Internet_connect_timeout = 45000
Internet_read_data_timeout = 45000
And Save the file.
Perform LiveUpdate Again
Click Finish to complete the LiveUpdate
After Update you call see all the policies will inclunded under Policies Tree.
