What's new in Ghost Solution Suite 3.2?

 Symantec is pleased to announce the general availability of Ghost Solution Suite 3.2.

Ghost Solution Suite 3.2  introduces the following new features and improvements:

  • Installation Readiness Check (IRC) tool implementation for 3.x /DS 6.9 customers

           With this prerequisite check tool you can ensure their GSS Server is compliant with system requirements (such as System Configuration, Ports,                     Permissions, and other Privileges) to ensure a successful GSS installation.

  • Single BDC across GSS Console and Ghost Standard tools

            Synchronizing the Boot Disk Creator tool across the console product and the Ghost Standard Tools ensures a consistent experience. 

  • Support for MS SQL 2016 and MS SQL 2014 SP2  as Database for GSS 3.2 Infrastructure

            You can now install the GSS database on the latest Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and 2014 SP2 versions.

  • Installer enhanced:
    • Stabilization – Component Install: Customers can now selectively install, uninstall or repair an individual component (such as PXE Manager) without having to uninstall, repair or re-install the entire GSS product again.
    • Added Language support:  The installer is now supported in Korean.
  • 4K native drive support

             You can now save created images to a 4K native drive (only as source of storage for images).

  • Office 2016 Support for PCT

             You can now migrate legacy Office data (2010 and 2013) seamlessly as part of a OS migration. This ensures that you can move to the latest office                 version as part of their Windows 10 migration.

  • Security and Pen Test improvements have been made to ensure the product maintains a high level of security.
  • XFS filesystem support

            You can now create and deploy images of an RHEL 7.x system that has the default XFS file system installed on it.

  • Support has been added for the following operating systems:
    • mac OS 10.12 (Sierra)
    • Windows 10 Redstone
    • RHEL 6.7
    • RHEL 7.2
    • Windows Server 2016 as managed client

The 3.2 What's new list includes all features/ OS support that were provided in any of the 3.1 MPs.

I did.

But Redstone 1 is not new in 3.2 as it was released in 3.1 MR5.

Either way this is confusing me.

"Windows 10 Redstone"

Redstone 1 (1607) or Redstone 2 (1703) - Only the "old" one, or both?
