Symantec Workspace Corporate - Logging and Debugging

I have been working on a interesting issue with our team in China.  Everything seems to be working with the execption of couple of user logins.  To help our team figure this out, we had to turn on debugging.  I wanted to post the steps to turn on the logging function.

You will need to add two registry keys to enable logging.  The keys will vary based on whether you are using version 6.1 or 6.2

[6.2 Registry Keys]

HKLM\Software\Symantec\Workspace Remote

DWORD DebugFlags with a value of 1

String LogDir with a value of "C:\Debug" or any other valid path

 

[6.1 Registry Keys]

HKLM\Software\Symantec\Workspace Remote\SWC

DWORD DebugFlags with a value of 1

String LogDir with a value of "C:\Debug" or any other valid path

 

You should create the path specified in the LogDir key.  You will also need to reboot the machine to start the logging function.
