Block Autorun for Downadup

Hi everybody,
You can use this this file in " Application and device policy" Create new rule or edit your policy. and Right click add choice dat file and import this rule.

Hi,
What's the difference between using wildcards for the path: "\*\*\*\autorun.inf"
and just using the filename "autorun.inf"?

You rigth. Because this policy disable autorun.inf. therefore you cannot install with autorun. you should the click setup.exe or msi

Does this policy effect Setups to be run which checks autorun.inf file while installing any software.

Thanks for sharing that  policy with us Faith. I'm sure it will help plenty of people. 

You can disable Autorun in Windows even without the application and device control component of SEP.

How to disable the Autorun functionality in Windows

This has the additional benefit of working on 64bit machines, as well as any clients where SEP has been damaged or removed.

I am sorry i wrote too late.
This is diffrent standart autorun.inf file.
this is blocked autorun.inf. and give access to symantec.
I give it from one symantec worker

I have blocked autorun.inf file with a policy is this policy a different one specially for downadup ?
