On Integrity servers that are running HP-UX the command hpvminfo can provide a wealth of information about the server that is otherwise unknown. Attached is a custom inventory that I have bundled into our custom-inv.tar.Z file and placed here in the default location on our 6.x NS: C:\Program Files\Altiris\Notification Server\NSCap\Bin\Unix\Inventory\HP-UX\PA-RISC\
For our inventory, we were only concerned about the Physical Model, Physical Serial Number, Physical Name of host that the VM resides on, and the IP of the physical host. We leveraged this information in our CMDB to create relationships for change management activities as well as impact analysis.

As you can see, if you are tracking your assets and relating them in a CMDB, you would want to know which host an HP-UX VM is residing on.
You can use this information in reports for software licensing tracking and auditing as well. Hope this helps and can be possibly integrated
into the 7.1 platform release to see additional expanded information inventoried out of the box for HP VM's.
