We recieved a new Dell today (a Dell Optiplex 7040) and found the Intel I219-LM drivers a bit tricky to find.
If you find these useful, please post the model these helped you with to assist others locating this in the forums.
In this package we have three drivers,

Having trouble again, this time with new model Latitude e7280 with the I219 NIC in WinPE5 (win8).
The driver msinfo reported is e1d62x64.sys
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV15D7
I had previously used this thread to get Dell 5470 Latitude & Dell 5040 Optiplex working. I tried drivers from the Dell enterprise WinPE download. The driver database shows I have a match but I am stuck in winPE at "restarting DHCP client service: retry 1..." etc
Attaching some screenshots. Let me know if anyone has any ideas. I have a ticket in as well.
Update: Updating to winpe10 seems to have got this model working. Now to back check all our older models...
Thanks Gary
Just to update for others who may find the thread - drivers that I had imported worked fine with winpe 5 x64.
Rebooted the server last night and am able to get the CMS driver wizard to work today, but I've tried all the drivers I can find on Dell's site and in this thread to no avail on winPE4 - 64bit or 32 bit.
Will try building winPE 5 preboot next when I can get server admin to give me more space to get it set up.
Dell 5040 Optiplex
NIC driver PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_15B8
Dell 5470 Latitude
NIC drive PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_156F
I'm seeing this issue with Optiplex 5040, trying to get 64bit winPE 4.0 to work. I'm trying to upload skibum's drivers, but the 'Add Driver' wizard keeps hanging for me in CMS at "Loading Drivers". I put a ticket in, but if anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate them.
I was able to import other preboot drivers ok (so import itself works). I let it sit for over 30 mins...
Is this for Windows 7?
We're having issues with the HP ProDesk 600 G2 SFF , HP support website is terrible and unfortunately we dont get the best support from HP. You wouldnt happen to have a link for HP ProDesk 600 G2 SFF Windows 7 64bit?
We are using ITMS 7.5 SP1 Hotfix 5 and i'm getting the Restarting DHCP Client service retry messages at PXE with the following model laptops HP 9480m & HP 1040G1.
From Device Manager we are using the I218-LM Intel NIC
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_155A
Currently using WinPE 4.0
Do we need to upgrade our WinPE to version 5 (basically upgrade our ITMS to either 7.6 or 8.0)?
Ian,
Disreguard. I used the drivers you posted instead of pulling them from Dell and it worked..
Thank you.
Jen
Hi Ian,
Dell T3620 Precision Workstation
NIC driver PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_15B7
I also have a Dell 5040 Optiplex
Both driver show up in pxe.
Was unable to get any of the drivers mentioned here to work. Contacted HP engineer and he gave me the following links. Why these aren't available publically is beyond me. HP Support website is terrible.
This is the driver that worked for HP ProDesk 600 G2 Desktop Mini PC
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/cmit/HP_WinPE_DriverPack.html
sp71912\WinPE5_1.01\x86_winpe5\network\intel\P00KEKB2\Flat\WIN81-32
Also here are the HP matrices for all hardware drivers
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/cmit/HP_Driverpack_Matrix_x86.html
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/cmit/HP_Driverpack_Matrix_x64.html
Again why you cant finda link to this when searching is beyond frustrating!
Hope this helps!
What is the vendor ID and device ID of the NIC driver on that model? To find this out, do the following,
In here you'll see a number of entries like PCI\VEN_xxxx&DEV_yyyy, where xxxx is the vendor ID and yyyy is the device ID.
I need this data to help verify whether this driver applies.
Kind Regards, Ian./
I can't get a Dell Precision WorkStation T3620 to pxe boot with DS 6.9 SP6 and WinPE 4 x86. I have put the newest drivers in and it still gives me the DHCP Retry message.
Do I need to upgrade to WinPE 5.1?
Thanks
jen
Skibum0417:
Wanted to let you know those worked fine for a Dell Optiplex 7040 using WinPE x64. For some reason, the Dell Enterprise Driver CAB does not include these.
Thanks!
Great find, thank you !
I can confirm that the Lenovo Thinkcentre M800 is working with the WinPE 4 x86 (ds6.9 SP6) using E1D6332.inf.
I dug them out of an HP service pack download. Had to find them for WDS for a new model we just got.
Thank you! Where did you find these? I have been looking for 2 days!
Skibum, thank you SO much. I've been beating my head against a wall trying to track down these drivers for 2 days. I couldn't find them by Hardware ID, device name, or driver name through either HP or Intel.
I had to create an account here just to express how grateful I am.
Where in the world did you find them?
We found the Windows 8 64-bit drivers by downloading the 8.1 drivers form the Dell site. Extract it and the Windows 8 driver is also in the package as well as the 8.1. These worked on an install of Win 8 we had on a HP EliteDesk 800 G2 Small Form Factor and worked on our WINPE4 on the same hardware.
The 32-bit drivers posted are working on our 32-bit WinPE4 on an HP EliteDesk 800 G2 Small Form Factor. Thanks!!! HP don't supply Windows 8 32-bit drivers for the G2's it seems....
The 64-bit drivers posted by skibum0417 aren't working on our 64-bit WinPE4 though and look to be the same Windows 8.1 64-bit drivers I tried from the HP website, that also aren't working. (HP haven't got Windows 8 drivers listed... just 8.1....)
Where did you get the Windows 8 32-bit drivers from ianatkin? Perhaps it will help us to find the 64-bit versions. Or if you could post the 64-bit files if you have them. Thanks!
Try this
Thank you, much appreciated!
Did you happen to find the drivers for WinPE4 x64 as well? We need them for our Optiplex 7040's...
The e1d6332 driver works great for an HP EliteOne 800 G2 AIO (non-touch). Thanks Ian!
Excellent, thanks Ian :)
