Intel vPro is wicked cool! Bring it to life with Altiris Helpdesk.

Attached is an export file with some cool new vPro tasks for Helpdesk. These tasks will invoke RTSM for a vPro-enabled machine. Just stage the XML file in a folder of your choice and import the tasks by selecting Admin/Import Admin Data.

New Categories:

  • Security
  • Security/Intrusion Detected
  • Security/Broadcasting Virus

Corresponding Task that will be enabled for these categories:
'Run vPro Network Filtering'

  • Break-Fix/Software/Operating System (this root already exists in Helpdesk)
  • Break-Fix/Software/Operating System/Can't Boot
  • Break-Fix/Software/Operating System/System Hang

Corresponding Task that will be enabled for these categories:
'Run vPro Power Management'
