SMC debugging enables advance debugging related to communication, location switching, host integrity and so on.
It is quite difficult to make the ‘Service Desk’ understand which registry to change and which flag to rise.
This utility will avail the ability to remotely enable SMC logging on to a remote computer. Pre requisite is just that the user need to be a Domain Administrator.
The only limitation is to restart the computer on the SMC restart. The one option which mandatorily needs SMC restart is the Sylink log, also used instead of Sylink monitor.
(Between US) Restarting the SMC service is better kept discrete by Symantec. It will definitely not be good to have it done remote or a by a 3rdparty.
In case you find this too useful. To begin with you got to enter the computer name first and then select the debugging you require.
Debugging is normally done for 2 or 3 machine. That is why I have not developed a functionality to add more than one machine together.
