    Does anyone know is MR5 has a problem with misreporting W32.pinfi virus??? I've run the recommended steps but (turn of system restore ... update v defs .. safe mode .. full scan - look for (but didn't find ANYTHING in the registry) which stopped notifications about infection for about 30 minutes and then they started again. Are these notifications bogus???

    You're actually posting in the wrong forum - this is Symantec Endpoint Encryption. You'll probably get some good help over in the Symantec Endpoint Protection forum though :-)
