    Hi there,

    I have performed two installations of SEP for linux on the same machine and have encountered the same error both times:

    CDefUtils::GetNewestDefs(): Missing DEFINFO.DAT.

    In the manager the antivirus status is "component is malfunctioning"

    Has anyone else encountered this?

    Cheers.

    Tried this method, AntiVirus status is now saying "Disabled" and the virus definitions tab is "Not available" after around 30 minutes this fixed itself
