  • 1.  451 mail server temporarily rejected message (#4.3.0)

    When I tried to send email from my MS outlook 2010 I have received an message from my Symantec endpoint protection 11.0.4 antivirus clent that Symantec Email Proxy  "Your email message was unable to be sent because your mail server rejected the message: 451 mail server temporarily rejected message (#4.3.0)".

    Kindly provide solution for the mention issue.

    Hi,

    That looks like an error generated by your mail server, can you confirm if you have any issues with that?

    Hello,

    It is possible your system is infected. Spam is often sent from botnets of compromised computers. If large numbers of the errors listed above are appearing I suggest you treat this as an infection.

    Secondly, you are running an older version of SEP client on your machine.

    NOTE: Make sure you do not Migrate unless your machine is clean.

    On another note, I notice that you are are running SEP 11 MR4. That version is very old and there have been thousands of fixes since that build released.

    There was also a Security Advisory notice back in 2010 that recommended upgrading.

    You should consider upgrading to the the most current version (SEP 11 RU7 MP2) ASAP.
