  • 1.  6 TMG will be managed by SWG

    What if I have 6 TMG servers and I want to use SWG. All of my 6 TMG are connected into 2 ISP. How many SWG do I need if I want to manage all of my TMG? Does 8490 capable of handling more than 1 ISP?

    SWG will not manage the configuration of your TMG gateways. SWG is ISP agnostic as it does not do routing nor does it act as a firewall. With out knowing more about how your network is configured it is difficult to say what you will need. I suggest you review the SWG implementation guide and determine how you plan to deploy the SWG.

    Are you talking about replacing the TMGs with SWGs? Again, you should read the implementation guide to get an idea of how we work and what we can and cannot do.

    We would need to know how many users you will be supporting to give you a better idea on how many you will need.
