    on the ghost console all i see is.

    machine - username mac address clone 8/10/2007 Failed
    Details for Clone
    Client cannot handle message

    I'm trying this on a latitude D620 and a Optiplex GX620 and 745

    Are the client PCs using DHCP or Static?
    If they are using DHCP, try setting them up with a Static IP. If it works with Static, then you'll have to contact Symantec for a hotfix.

    I had this same problem.

    EDIT: I forgot to ask, what version of Ghost are you running?

    I'm running
    11.0.1.1533

    I've tried doing the static IP and unless I'm doing it wrong which could be the case it also will not work. I can make a network Boot CD and boot up just fine on the system and connect to my server to make or restore a image. But not with the Ghost Console and Client.

    I was finaly able to get it to work by adding a WATTCP file to the clients machines folder C:\Program Files\Symantec\Ghost

    In my WATTCP file i put the following

    IP = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

    NETMASK = 255.255.255.0

    NAMESERVER= xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

    GATEWAY = xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

    Is there a way for me to include this file when i push the client out to system?
