  • 1.  Administrator has locked the Liveupdate

    Hi everyone,
    I installed SEP ver. 11 on Windows 2003 as managed clients for other 3 XP professional machines. The push went well, but on the Server the Liveupdate is greyed out and pointing the mouse it says " Administrator has locked out this feature" .
    Please help.

    you have installed clients as manged clients, hence liveupdate is grayed out
    to enable
    open symantec endpoint manager
    click on policies
    click on liveupdate
    right click -> Edit
    under server settings select use a liveudpate server
    select the first option to use symantec liveupdate server
    slect advanced settings
    check allow users to launch liveupdate manually, u have the option enabled
