We have one computer that generates a tracking cookie alert for ad.yieldmanager.com and we cannot seem to get rid of it. We are running SEP 12.1. The computer is running Windows 7 32 bit with IE 9. So far in IE options we have tried setting yieldmanager.com under Sites to be blocked and removed/deleted all cookies. SEP detects the cookie and basically fails to delete or quarantine it.

    Hi Michael,

First off: are you sure that is all that you have on that computer?

Take a look at this Connect blog post, which mentions "ad.yieldmanager.com":

There are many Internet hits about adware, pop-ups, etc that come from that domain-- are you detecting anything other than tracking cookies?

I recommend checking the risk logs from that client to see if anything else is being found.  Run a manual scan as well: does that detect anything-?

If not, then run Symantec Power Eraser to see if any suspicious files are detected.
