We have upgraded DCS - SA to 6.6, After upgrade in the JAVA Console we are unable to find Assets Tab.

Is there any work around or steps we need follow.

Please advice.

In DCS:SA 6.6 there are some significant changes that are not really highlighted in the documentation.

In all versions of the documentation I can find, it mentions about a virtual appliance that you can use to control the console of DCS:SA and previous to 6.6 this wasn't a requirement, however now in 6.6 this is required to manage machines. There are a lot of features now missing from the standalone console which must now be managed through the virtual appliance.

I believe your only options are to downgrade or to install the virtual appliance.

I got the same issue. Can not find assents in the console.

Were you able to get around?

I've discussed this with Symantec and confirmed that the virtual appliance is a reqirement in 6.6. 

The two options are:

• Downgrade back to DCS:SA 6.5
• Install the virtual appliance and use DCS:SA 6.6
