After installation of DLP 14 Single Tier in a test lab, we are unable to login getting below error

"Invalid Username /Password or Account Disabled" However account is active and not disable. This is the first time we are attempting login.

Username is Administrator and password is what we chose after installation. Also we did reset password successfuly still new password doesnt work.

Here is the logs from Tomcat. Logs doesnt specify if there is any password error as password is correct.

There is a good chance the password was messed up or typed incorrectly during installation.  Do you know the protect database password?  If so there is a utility to reset the password for the Administrator account (i just don't remember if off the top of my head) which should be in the SymatnecDLP\Protect folder some place.

Might be fastsest to reach out to Symantefc support they can help you out pretty quickly I bet

Do you know which oracle password is needed to change the admin password? Is the Oracle protect user, or the SYS user?

If you have not been able to login in EVER..

Make sure the Administrator has a CAPITAL 'A'

If that deosn't work..I would just reinstall. Uninstall and then reinstall the SW and make sure to initialize the DB, this will blow everything away.

This time make sure you what what you type for the password.

    Good Luck.

Just installed a v14 test system and had this same exact issue. Somthing so silly as a capital A.

My prod system was an upgrade so did not need the admin account. Thanks for the info Ronak
