Most of our agents are fine, but this one keeps saying "changed: N/A" under configuration. It has a Comptuer ID so I know it can talk to the SMP but it never gets it's configuration. I've tried reinstalling the agent.

What more troublesome is that the agent was origianlly installed as part of the image that all 30 of these computers got. Most of them work, this one does not. Policies show up blank. See screen shot.

I've connected to it using RAAD but it doesn't seem to add any additional information about the client than the log files. Here the one error message it's getting.

    <event date="Jan 27 13:44:25" severity="1" hostName="WHDTL03-1130143" source="Agent" module="AeXNSAgent.exe" process="AeXNSAgent.exe" pid="1520" thread="1124" tickCount="7933009"><![CDATA[Failed to create object Altiris.SoftwareUpdateAgent: The object is not registered or is not present in the policy (-2147467237)]]></event>

At least PCAnywhere is allowing remote control.

It doesn't seem to be getting a policy at all. Can you resolve the NS's FQDN and access it on port 80? It could also be a problem on the NS with it not processing NSE's. Are your Event Queues healthy?

You may just need to register the Client Task Agent DLL:

We ended up having to goto manage->computers and delete this one as well as another entry that seemed to be sharing the same computer name. Once we did an update configuration and the agent was then able to get a new guid.
