  • 1.  AI Snapshot Error

    In trying to run  the AI Snapshot About half way through I get an error as follows.  I click next and it starts "reading information " and stops at a file occcache.ini.
     
    Microsoft Visual C++-Runtime Library
     
    Runtime Error !
    c:\program files\symantec\ghost\aishapshot.exe
     
    The aaaplication has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the administrator's support team for more information.
     
     
    Any ideas'? I've tried re-installing the remote Client from the Console and removing the computer from the domain.
    I'm running Ghost SS 2.0

    Hi Minstral ,

    When runtime error is poping up-during the initial checking of your computer or later when you started monitoring your software package installation?

    Which installation program you are monitoring and on which OS?

    It appears in theinital checking of the computer before I get to installing any programs. And its Win XP Pro.
     
    The programs I WILL be installing are a collection of programs.  Some Font's and a program called Open Reuslts (used in Schools) . But the initial snapshot hasn't completed so it's before I evenn try to install.
     
    I'm not sure what other info will be useful. I've disabled AntiVirus and Windows Defender/Firewall.
    -I have Completely updated Windows XP withe all the patches and optional patches (all except .NET 3.0)

    Hi Minstral ,

    Some service which is running in PC's background is preventing AI Snapshot to be completed correctly.However when installing software, the model computer should only have the operating system installed.
