I am working on renaming my teacher computers from an S to a T. Example: L0811SXXXXXXX to L0811TXXXXXX (where X is the serial number). The only thiing I need to change is the S to a T. In the past, I would right click on the computer, select configure, and change the S to a T and it creates a job. However, recently is is giving me the following error:  Login Failure: Bad username and password.

Where is the password located for this job, since it is a system job and not a script that was created by our company?

I tried to change the password in the following place:  Start, Programs, Altiris, Deployment Console, Configuration

    This did not work.

Have the machines lost their domain membership? So the DS is trying to use a domain account but the PC doesn't recognise it.

No, they are still on our domain and networked.

You entered it in a long time ago when you first built the job.  I'll try to find where it's stored.  It's like when you add a machine to the domain - it asks you the first time, and then stores that password.  You might poke around in the control-panel applet to see if it's there.  I'll look later.  I used to know...

Now I've got a system in front of me it's Tools > Options > Domain Accounts from the DS Console.
