  • 1.  ALtiris Console to import software shown Java Error

    Hi,

    When I try to import a software for deployment in Altiris Console, it show an error when I want to upload the software.

    It is:

    Does this hapen if you use the SMP's own browser either by direct access to the machine or via RDP?

    Sounds like an issue with your Java Runtime.

    1) Make sure you have the latest JRE installed (32-bit assuming you are using a 32-bit browser)

    2) Under control panel, java, security tab, add the URL for your SMP to the exception site list

    Thanks for you both reply.

    Since the altiris server need to re-install due to some other problems, and it seems the java problem didn't happened after re-install, so the problem can't repeat now.

    But I am sure that the JRE is (32-bit) and no security since I use the same PC to access the new installed server.
