    Hello, I have query related to Altiris Patch Management Agent, currently i have 7.5 environment and installed nearly 20K 7.5 agents, but want to switch to 8.1 and i dont want to migrate data from existing environment and my requirement is if i just replace the existing 7.5 servers with new 8.1 server on same host name and IP address will 7.5 agents which is installed in client systems communicate with new server and accept the patch updates from the new server?

    can we setup DR site for Altiris Patch management ?

    Hi Sathish,

    7.5 Patch plug-in is not supported with Notification Server 8.1.
