    Hi,

Now, I testing SEP Cloud on my Android device (Huawei P9).

After I installed SEP Cloud application, enrolled to SEP Cloud Portal and scanned complete.

In SEP Cloud Portal and SEP Cloud application state my device has been rooted but actually i didn't rooted on my device.

Is this problem is false positive? If not, how to fix this problem?

One thing you can do quickly is install a root checker app from the Play store to see what it shows. If it's a false positive, I'd engage Symantec support so they can review this.

Search on google play store for root checker. then simply run app on your android phone. it will show the status of phone.

is it rooted or not. Thanks

Looks like a support ticket is needed so they can review.

Hi, just installed SEP C on my Galaxy S7 Edge, and got the same error message, that my phone is rooted. When checking using various root checkers, the device is not rooted. I would like to know how to remove this false positive. Kind regards Stephen

I would also agree with Brian that a support ticket would be the best way to go, so we can address this.

    Hi Pisek,

As per screenshot. Rooting is done on device, and again try to unroot device.

suggestion is try to flash with default factory ROM. and again install all appllication.

This will definitely resolve your problem.

    Hello Pisek,

Once the latest inventory is collected the device should go into secure state. Let us know if you still face this issue.

    Thanks,
