    Hi All,

Good day! We will have a SEP deployment on all of our servers and the policy that we will use on those server is the default from the symantec endpoint protection manager. May I know what are the things scanned by symantec endpoint protection with anti-virus only? Thank you.

All files on the file system are scanned, unless you have specific exclusions in place. Any time a file is read, accessed, or modified, autoprotect will scan it.

    Hi Brian,

Just a clarification, anti-virus only scans all? Is there any article with regards to this information? Thank you.

    Regards,

    Roy Bacani

The purpose is to protect the file system so aside from the pagefile, it will protect everything else.
