  • 1.  Application Metering Policy email issue

    Hello All,

I am running into an issue with the Application Metering Policy emails that are sent out. The emails are sent out whenever a user tries to run a blacklisted application we have created a AMP for, and it works correctly. The strange thing is, some of the emails that get sent do not include a Username as deemed by the email portion of the AMP. Below you will see the email template that has the correct {User} variable set. I added on the {File Path} variable to see what file is actually trying to be run when the AMP blocks and sends out the email. I have also checked the file properties for the exe being flagged and none of the file properties on the incorrect exe's match the file properties of the blacklisted exe, like version or file name. You will also see a correct email as well as an incorrect email with no user name below. Any help would be greatful!

    TIA, Larry

which perhaps you could do some comparison is that the notification with the incorrect data is based on null values, so Altiris is either inserting blanks or wrong information.
