Asset Management Suite

Attempting to figure out how to assign assets to rooms instead of users.  Being a school district, equipment belongs to the rooms, never to the teachers.  We have a lot of constant moving of teachers between rooms and buildings so having to assign to a user won't work.  Any assistance on how to create rooms to assign room equipment too would be awesome.  Thanks!

Use Locations. You can create each room as a Location and have a hierarchy of Locations. So Rooms 1-5 can be in a Location called Building A.

If each room had its own subnet there is a Task to assign computers to Locations by subnet, otherwise you'll just have to keep track manually of which computer is in which room. See:
