  • 1.  Assign to Me / Set Ownership Link on Email Templates

    I am trying to embed a link for the action "Set Ownership" in my emails that are sent by a process automation rules. Has anyone encountered a request to do this? I should mention that I am trying to do this in ServiceDesk 7.5 as well.

    The Set Ownership link is built as follows.

    "http://servername/SD.IncidentManagementSimple/StartDialog.aspx?workflowTaskID=TASKIDGUID&dialogModel=Set+Ownership"

    Unfortunately inside the e-mail template builder the TaskID guid is not exposed as an e-mail token, so you don't have the ability to properly build the necessary URL link.
