My symantec will not work as my computer will not let me turn it on.  I also have a few auto run files I cannot delete.

Have you tried rebooting? Is there an error message?

What's the exact version of SEP here?

Assuming you have an unmanaged client, you need to disable the application and device control component temporarily to remove those files.

    Hi Kim,

What exactly do you mean by the following?

My symantec will not work as my computer will not let me turn it on.

Is there an error message being displayed?  Can you let us know exactly what it is?

I recommed running the SymHelp tool with Threat Analysis Scan, and using its Power Eraser capabilities to delete anything clearly malicious that is discovered.  If SymHelp will not run for some reason, use the SERT LiveCD.
