    Is their a way to automate this? Everyday I have to run a report for a few groups and send it to them via email. Currently I have to do the following manually:

    Monitors->Logs Tab->
    -Then I have to select Log Type: Computer Status and select the Time Range of 24 hours and select my Group to run the report on -> then View log ->export -> and then open with Excel and sendf via email.

    So is their a way to automate this?
    We are running SEP 11 with SQL as the database.

    Thanks

    You can setup a scheduled report. If you go the Reports tab, and then the Scheduled Reports tab up top. Click the Add and then select the type of report and the frequency for which you wan to run it. At the bottom you can add your mail recepients.

    Forgot to add that it will send the report as a MHT file, which opens in your browser. Its not the best format , but if you arent manipulating the data at all, its ok.

    Thanks for the quick response,
    I have tried this but to be honest the report is very basic and almost useless.  When you view the logs in the process above and open it with excel you get a lot of really useful information such as computer names, domain,  DNS servers, user names, version numbers, type of OS.  The Reports Option gives a very, very basic report.
