DS 6.9 SP5 - I can create a boot disk CD using WinPE and it connects to the DS just fine and I can manually downlod or upload images.
With the automation partition, trying to run a task such as deploy or image a machine, the DS reports that the job was cancelled. Watching the pc to be imaged, the screen after loading drivers and connecting to network says it's unable to locate the dagent on the share and then says it's calling dagent from the local x:, reports its waiting for custom commands , it then waits for several seconds and boots back to windows.
I have tried moving the shares default F: to I: and then to Y:, as per several posts, but makes no difference.
I have given the local login account for the share admin rights as suggested by other posts, makes no difference.
I have installed Win7 onto a single partition, found this on anther post, made no difference.
Anyone know anything else to try? I'm just spinning my wheels at this point.
