  • 1.  AV inventory stopped returning results on 7.1

    The strange thing is that every workstation shows failure, though the agent is active and showing success on the inventory request. So the agents are returning the AV status to the server but the server is not getting them. I've got a gut feeling that the server may actually be getting the status but not successfully storing it in the dedicated SQL DB. Now this may be just my paranoia talking. I had a Symantec SE tell me not to put any other DBs on the box, and they recently put some on the same box.

    And it was working fine last week. Anyone ever see anything like this?

    Ours dumps most AntiVirus inventory NSE files because the date format is wrong or missing. I think the dataclass definition is too restrictive compared with the results from the agent.

    I keep meaning to log this with Symantec, I don't think you can edit the dataclass.
