I am the new IT guy in my company where Symantec Backup Exec 2014 is used. I have never worked with this backup system before.
In Symantec Backup Exec 2014 there is currently a Job named "Company Backups". This job is assigned to three servers. If I edit the job, I do see the 3 servers and the backup plan.
The issue is that there is another server which is not backed up. I was able to install the Backup Exec client on it and I do see it in the "Backup and Restore"-tab of course with status "Never backup up".
I want to add that server to the job "Company Backups" but I don't find an option. In tab "Backup and Restore" there is a button "Backup" with a lot of options but I do not find something to add it to the existing job (there is an option "create a new backup using the settings from an existing backup" but that is not wat I want.)
