  • 1.  Block other Reciepients when a rule is applyed

    Posted Feb 26, 2017 02:20 PM

    Hello,

i need to allow users to send mails only to approved receiepients, when i set-up the rules i have the problem that when one condition is satisfied all mails will be delivered.

so when i i send to one allowed email address, all other cc and to will be delivered.

How can i block the other reciepients ?

    Best regards,

    Hi,

All the rules apply to a message. If one of these messages gets sent to several recipients at once there is no way to devide the rules / result.

You could only tell the sender to send them separately.

    Regards

    Hello,

the point is that i need to allow only mails to approved receipients, i would agree to block all messages if one is not allowed.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

What do you mean by approved recipients, are we talking about in- or outbound?

And can you please tell me more about the current rule?

    Regards

    Thomas

    HI,

i attached a pic of the rule,

Its a outbound roule, that allows only outbound mails to one receipient, but whenever i add some CC or TO it will be delivered to any of the addreses.

    Regards,

    Hi,

Summary of the rule: If recipient matches mail-address deliver the mail.

If you add someone else to the recipients the mail get delivered, right?

    Why not inverting your logic?

Take a look at the attached rule - havent tried it
