Hi,
I have multiple printers in my environment, the requirements are that the users must not use specific printer for printing high confeditial.
How to achive that? I need hints like using Endpoint Device and define the printer there.
Hi Saqer,
The forum topic below should help you:

Thanks!
Thanks CraigEV for your help.
But when a rule is built to block spicific printer hardware ID, there are no incidents generated in the detection server.
Can you support to elaborate more how to construct the policy to block spicific printer?
Thanks
Hi Saqer You can ignore or monitor specific printers Please check this link https://help.symantec.com/cs/DLP15.5/DLP/v119629813_v128674454/Filter-by-Printer-Properties-settings?locale=EN_US I dont know if endpoint device will work or not as its a network printer but you may give it a try . Just try to get the device id https://help.symantec.com/cs/DLP15.5/DLP/v38484644_v128674454/Creating-and-modifying-endpoint-device-configurations?locale=EN_US Hope this answer your question
