Block SHA256 in Symantec endpoint protection 14.0.1

    Hi Team,

     

    As I am using REST API to block MD5 values in Symantec server. Now I have a requirement to block SHA256 instead of MD5.

    When i changed MD5 hashtype to SHA256, I got error as "SHA256 is not supported yet" but in REST API documentation it is stated that we can specify either MD5 or SHA256.

    Is it possible to block SHA256 in Symantec server?

    Despite what the doc says, SHA256 does not appear to be supported.

    Which API command are you using? We have 2 ways of blacklisting now.
