  • 1.  BO system shifted

    BO Site is merging and all system are shifted in HO. How to connect the site to take the advantages of the policy of HO and take the defintion from Console?

    Clients are count of 50.

    Server will automatically share the connectivity to clients or we do it manually?

    Any other changes?

    Ans - Replace the sylink file for the communication.

    Ans - Server can't be know the client, you can replace the sylink file for the communication. Above symantec artciles help to deploy on all the clients in a single time.

    Any other changes?

    Ans - Make sure the port 8014  open bi-direction from server and client communication.

    If your BO site client already connected SEPM you don't need to change anything,Once system are connected network it will automatic update for your SEPM server.

    Any other changes?

    You need to check that network firewall port open between SEP client to SEPM that network VLAN.

    check the BO group in SEPM, go to policies change the liveupdate setting to default management server...

    These systems were not connected to SEPM. BO link was running with broadband and all systems were offline.

    For the reporting to group. We will apply the sylink.

    Q is single sylink will update all the system in that single group, but i want to add in different group then how to manage?

    create new group, take sylink from that group, once you have all systems inside this group, you can move them to anywhere you like.
