Ghost Solution Suite

I am trying to create a preboot OS for ghostcasting as shown in https://www.symantec.com/connect/articles/creating-pxe-boot-image-ghostcasting-ghost-solution-suite-3

I am getting an error "The specified location does not appear to contain the WinPE 5.x files, or contains a version that is not compatible with boot disk creator" when trying to install the preboot OS in Boot Disk Creator. I get to step 4 shown in https://www.symantec.com/connect/articles/how-import-preboot-operating-systems-ghost-solution-suite-3-console-installation when the error appears.

I am using Windows Server 2012 R2, I have ADK version 8 and 10 install in C:\Program Files(x86)\Windows Kits both were installed selecting "Deployment tools" and "Windows PE". The server is not connected to the internet and I have limited access to it so I might be slow with replys.

Any suggestions where to begin troubleshooting this would be welcome.

The issue is you do not have the Winpe5.X ADK installed. Winpe5 comes from Windows ADK 8.1, you currently have Windows ADK 8.0 and 10 installed. I would remove 8 and 10 and then do a fresh install of the ADK 8.1 from the below location.

Thank you, I have now had access to the server and this resolved my issue.

I did have to install GSS 3.1 MP1 after this but am unsure if that was related or not.
